Advanced Inspection Engineer- Manufacturing Quality

Apple is seeking an Advanced Inspection Engineer to join their Manufacturing Quality team in Cupertino. This role is crucial in developing inspection equipment that ensures Apple's high standards across all mechanical portions of their world-class hardware, including iPhone, Mac, iPad, Watch, VisionPro, and others. The role involves building sophisticated ML solutions from ground up to production, utilizing computer vision for CNNs and object detection, with a strong focus on Python programming and various ML frameworks. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in applying computer vision and machine learning techniques in manufacturing environments. They should be comfortable with Python development and have a strong educational background in engineering or computer science. Knowledge of networking concepts, experience with inspection systems, and understanding of mechanical metrology are valuable assets.
