- Develop techniques for creating high-quality synthetic datasets across vision, text, and audio data
- Innovate new approaches for synthetic data generation
- Collaborate with teams to optimize datasets for training foundation models
- Implement semi-supervised and self-supervised representation learning techniques
- Develop automation pipelines for synthetic data generation
- Stay updated with latest research in synthetic data generation and foundational model training
- Design and develop comprehensive data generation framework for Apple Intelligence foundation models
- Build robust model evaluation pipelines

Requirements For AIML - Machine Learning Engineer, Data and ML Innovation
- Demonstrated expertise in computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning
- Deep understanding in multi-modal foundation models
- Knowledge of emerging trends in generative AI and multi-modal LLM
- Strong programming skills in Python, PyTorch, or Jax
- Ph.D/MS degree in Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Data Science, Statistics or related areas
