AIML - Senior Machine Learning Engineer, NLP - Siri and Information Intelligence

As part of Apple Intelligence, the Siri team is leading the next revolution in machine learning and Generative AI. They are creating groundbreaking conversational assistant technologies for large-scale systems and new client devices, building on their legacy of intelligent assistant solutions. The ML Systems Evaluation Engineering (MLSEE) team at Apple is seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in developing and deploying applications powered by large language models (LLMs).

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and fine-tuning machine learning models, including LLMs
• Designing and implementing ETL pipelines and data processing workflows
• Building and deploying APIs for machine learning models
• Engaging in prompt engineering for synthetic dataset creation
• Managing deployments using Kubernetes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong programming skills in OOP and system design using Python
• Experience with cloud services like AWS and container orchestration
• Knowledge of big data technologies and databases
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Prior experience in machine learning or related scientific research
• Ability to manage large datasets and conduct statistical evaluations
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (preferred)
