Description For Apple Watch PD Engineering Program Specialist

Join Apple's Watch Engineering Program Management Team as a PD Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) in a highly collaborative role focused on building next-generation Apple products. This position involves working with Material Management, Supply Chain Management, and Factory Readiness in support of the Apple Watch PD group. You'll drive day-to-day activities to meet program objectives, focusing on engineering, development planning, and validation cycles. The role requires engaging with large cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers to balance competing objectives and meet aggressive timelines.

As an EPS, you'll be responsible for overseeing material availability activities, managing system-level parts lists (BOM), coordinating updates between various teams, and ensuring accuracy of configurations. You'll provide strategic direction on quantity and build strategy, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and handle purchase orders and logistics. The position involves international travel for approximately two-week trips and requires excellent multitasking abilities to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
