Description For ASIC Design Engineer

Apple is seeking an experienced ASIC Design Engineer to join their Hardware team in Beaverton, Oregon. As an ASIC Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of hardware innovation, working on sophisticated SOC designs and complex logic implementations.

The position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in hardware design, particularly in SOC development and integration. You'll be responsible for everything from writing microarchitecture specifications to implementing complex logic designs and supporting front-end integration activities. Responsibilities For ASIC Design Engineer

  • Write microarchitecture and/or design specifications
  • Design, implement, and debug complex logic designs
  • Integrate complex IPs into the SOC
  • Support front end integration activities including Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and ECO
  • Work with SOC Design, SOC Design Verification, Emulation, STA, and Physical Design teams
  • Collaborate with software and systems teams to ensure high quality

Requirements For ASIC Design Engineer

Python
  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Verilog RTL Logic Design experience
  • Experience writing specifications and converting them to design
  • Experience with multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces
  • Hands on experience in chip development process with proficiency in front end tools
  • Experience in system architecture, CPU & IP Integration, and power/clock management designs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with software and operating concepts
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, Python, or TCL
