As an Audio Transport Driver Engineer, you'll work on developing audio-related drivers and applications for Mac, iOS, and tvOS platforms. You'll be working at the intersection of hardware and software, developing everything from low-level kernel drivers in C++ to high-level APIs and UIs in Objective C or Swift. Responsibilities For Audio Transport Driver Engineer

  • Design, develop and debug audio drivers, protocols and APIs
  • Driver bringup for new platforms and peripherals related to audio transport and synchronization
  • Participate in monitoring industry standards bodies and new specification development
  • Participate in medium and large scale software engineering processes
  • Create and maintain engineering documents

Requirements For Audio Transport Driver Engineer

  • 2 years of experience in software development, debugging, and testing
  • Experience with kernel level programming, device drivers and/or real-time systems software
  • Experience with designing, implementing and analyzing performance of network or bus protocols
  • Excellent programming skills with knowledge of C, C++, and Objective-C or Swift
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
