AVKit Engineering Manager

The Audio and Media Technologies Group (AMT) at Apple is seeking an AVKit Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for implementing media application frameworks supporting playback and editing of audiovisual media. This role involves overseeing the development of UI frameworks used across Apple products such as Safari, TV, Photos, Music, Videos, FaceTime, iMovie, and 3rd party applications on all platforms.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent technical and programming background, strong leadership skills, and working experience in the audiovisual domain. They will be responsible for designing and building media playback UI for iOS and watchOS, shipping commercial quality, consumer-oriented software, and collaborating closely with multi-functional teams to integrate and release innovative features in a fast-paced environment.
