Apple's Battery Engineering group is seeking a dedicated Battery Lab Program Manager to join their innovative team in crafting cutting-edge battery solutions. The position involves coordinating and tracking battery qualification testing across different teams within the battery group and external vendors. You'll be responsible for managing the lab's process flow, ensuring data systems readiness, verifying metrology, and handling test resource management. As a Battery Lab Program Manager, you'll work closely with cell and battery engineering teams to ensure all testing meets standard operating protocols and engineering expectations. Responsibilities For Battery Lab Program Manager

  • Establish requirements for test readiness based on engineering input
  • Establish standard PM processes for setting up tests
  • Receive test inputs on new investigations
  • Plan and coordinate battery qualification resources
  • Work with Lab managers to ensure schedule commitments are met
  • Forecast and coordinate test requirements with external battery testing vendors
  • Coordinate and monitor vendor testing progress

Requirements For Battery Lab Program Manager

  • Bachelors degree or 3+ year's experience in testing of devices
  • Experience with Program management tools (MS Project, MS Excel, FileMaker etc.)
  • Strong track record of creating and maintaining process documentation
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with battery test protocols, testing processes, MES systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
