As a Battery Management System Electrical Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing and testing battery monitoring units and Battery Management Units (BMU) for next-generation consumer electronic products. You'll work with a diverse team of experts across Product Design, System EE, Cell Engineering, Firmware, and Algorithms to develop cutting-edge battery technologies. You'll use advanced simulation tools like PSPICE and ANSYS to verify designs and ensure they meet all requirements.

Responsibilities For Battery Management System Electrical Engineer

  • Design BMU from concept to mass production focusing on detailed board level design
  • Push the boundaries of technologies to maximize performance and minimize volume
  • Collaborate with multi-functional partners
  • Develop Schematics and BOMs to satisfy design requirements
  • Develop layout guidelines for PCBs
  • Specify custom parts and PCBs for use in BMUs
  • Analyze design with simulation tools
  • Conduct design validation on prototypes
  • Conduct design reviews
  • Specify production test methods and limits

Requirements For Battery Management System Electrical Engineer

Python
  • BS degree
  • Experience in analog and/or power electronics design
  • Strong EE fundamentals in electronic circuit design/development
  • Knowledge of inter-module communications protocols (I2C, SMBus, SPMI, etc.)
  • Experience with high volume manufacturing
