The Health Technologies Team at Apple is seeking a highly motivated biomedical studies engineer to join a cross-functional team to help drive feasibility of health, wellness, sensors, systems, and applications. This role involves designing and executing human user studies, troubleshooting prototype hardware and software, identifying appropriate reference devices, communicating with study participants, developing streamlined processes, and working with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities include: • Designing and executing human user studies for evaluating health and wellness sensors, systems, and applications • Troubleshooting prototype hardware and software/apps used in data collection • Identifying and evaluating reference devices for studies • Ensuring robust and consistent data collection across study participants • Developing processes to streamline user study data collection and improve participant experience • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on various projects
The ideal candidate should have a background in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred). Experience with biomedical research, troubleshooting prototype hardware/software, and excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
