Responsibilities For Biophotonics Scientist

  • Lead day-to-day assessment of dataset quality and performance results during ongoing clinical studies
  • Analyze, interpret and report on study data conducted with biophotonics prototypes
  • Uncover what causes data variations and their impact on measurement performance
  • Explore complex datasets to uncover hidden patterns, trends and insights
  • Develop advanced understanding of biophotonics instrumentation, tissue optics and algorithm development

Requirements For Biophotonics Scientist

Python
  • BS degree in mathematics, science or engineering
  • MATLAB or Python programming ability for data analysis
  • MS degree with 4+ years industry experience or PhD (preferred)
  • Experience analyzing/interpreting biomedical sensor data from humans
  • Experience with multivariate analysis techniques such as PCA and linear regression
  • Experience using Git and maintaining code repositories
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
