CAD Automation and ML Engineer

Apple is seeking a CAD Automation and ML Engineer to join their Hardware team in developing advanced silicon solutions. This role combines hardware expertise with machine learning, focusing on circuit design automation and custom IP reuse. The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge integrated circuits development, applying ML and LLM technologies to various aspects of silicon design processes.

The role involves developing innovative pipelines for design engineers, working with transistor-level analysis workflows, and delivering diverse IPs for cutting-edge integrated circuits. You'll work with various ML applications, including information retrieval, triage, and chatbot development, alongside traditional silicon design areas such as timing analysis, simulations, and power EM analysis.

As part of Apple's hardware team, you'll collaborate with diverse design teams, including Custom Digital, Analog, and Mixed-Signal groups. The position requires strong programming skills, particularly in Python, and experience with ML algorithms and large language models. You'll be working in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact millions of Apple customers through the development of state-of-the-art processors.

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary range of $121,900 to $183,600, plus additional benefits such as stock options, comprehensive medical coverage, and education reimbursement.
