Description For Camera & Depth Sensing Engineering Program Manager

Apple's Camera & Depth Sensing Team is seeking a Hardware Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to drive the design, development, and integration of camera and depth sensing modules. This cross-functional role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of cameras and depth sensing modules for Apple's entire product line. The ideal candidate should be able to navigate uncertainties, adapt to rapid changes, and lead complex decisions to deliver cutting-edge technology to millions of users.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and driving execution of build plans for multiple module integrators and component suppliers
  • Leading module development and advocating for optimal module performance
  • Ensuring camera and depth sensing modules are delivered on schedule
  • Proactively managing risks and communicating status to development teams and executives
  • Coordinating efforts across hardware, software, mechanical engineering, and operations teams
  • Potential international travel to support builds

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, knowledge of camera module design and/or camera key parts design and subcomponents. Preferred qualifications include relevant industry experience in camera hardware design or project management in a similar field, in-depth technical engineering knowledge, and the ability to manage global contract manufacturers and vendors.

This position offers a competitive base pay range of $165,500 to $293,800, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Responsibilities For Camera & Depth Sensing Engineering Program Manager
