Camera Tuning Engineer

This role sits at the intersection of photography, computer vision, and machine learning, focusing on delivering exceptional camera experiences to millions of users worldwide.

The position requires a deep understanding of image processing algorithms and ISP components, combined with a passion for photography and user experience. You'll be working on groundbreaking features like Deep Fusion, HDR, and Portrait Mode, which showcase the seamless integration of Apple's hardware and software capabilities.

As a Camera Tuning Engineer, you'll be responsible for fine-tuning image quality algorithms for iOS cameras, ensuring they meet Apple's high standards for excellence. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of experience in image quality testing or algorithm engineering, with expertise in ISP 3A, de-noising, fusion, and tone-mapping algorithms. Knowledge of iOS/macOS development and consumer device cameras is highly valued, as is an understanding of human vision and psychophysics.
