This role involves working within a team to deliver a broad range of wireless technologies, focusing on meeting performance, quality, and schedule requirements for Apple products. The position requires multi-functional team coordination, communication, and representation across Cellular systems and silicon engineering ecosystem from concept to production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving technical issue resolution for timely silicon delivery
- Tracking program landmarks for all phases of Baseband Silicon and System validation
- Interfacing with multi-functional teams to drive silicon issues
- Aligning teams to deliver silicon configurations and ensure smooth bringup
- Driving risk management & mitigation strategies
- Focused issue reporting, bug tracking, and communication of program risks & status
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in product and test engineering for cellular products, as well as project management experience in cellular platform/system development. This role requires sophisticated multi-tasking skills and real-time crisis management abilities.

The base pay range for this role is between $157,000 and $278,900, with additional opportunities for discretionary bonuses, commission payments, and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities For Cellular SoC Silicon Validation Engineering Program Manager
- Work on a Program Management team responsible for driving technical issue resolution
- Track program landmarks for all phases of Baseband Silicon and System validation
- Interface and drive silicon issues within multi-functional teams
- Drive technical sessions with internal/external multi-functional partners
- Align with multi-functional teams to deliver silicon configurations
- Drive risk management & mitigation strategies to ensure program delivery
- Focused issue reporting, bug tracking, and communication of program risks & status
Requirements For Cellular SoC Silicon Validation Engineering Program Manager
- BS and 10+ years relevant industry experience
- Previous SoC development experience
- Cellular, Wireless silicon, or system validation experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of cellular systems for 2 or more modern communications standards, 4G and/or 5G cellular systems/standards preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, social, and leadership skills
- Ability to tailor information to the right audience, including executive management
- Experience working in a dynamic multi-functional engineering environment
- Expertise owning and driving project development/technical program management
- Hands on experience working with systems & design flows, and leading cellular/wireless projects from concept to production
