This role is at the center of a silicon design group responsible for physical layer systems for pioneering wireless SoC products, with a focus on wireless system design, modeling, and simulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Integrating PHY reference models in various simulation and verification environments
- Contributing to simulator configuration management and performing SW releases
- Designing and implementing 4G/5G PHY models for pre-silicon simulation and verification
- Performing verification of PHY models using 3rd Party test tools
- Contributing to link-level simulator modeling and framework design
- Designing test cases for feature verification and driving feature bring-up
- Collaborating across teams to define project requirements and solve integration issues
The ideal candidate should have:
- BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Expert knowledge in Python and C/C++
- Strong background in building systems, configuration, and release management
- Good understanding of simulator frameworks for link- and system-level simulations
- Solid knowledge of wireless communication systems, especially 4G/5G PHY FW design
- Experience in workflow automation for verification and regression testing
