Cloud Site Reliability Engineer - Apple Vision Pro

Apple is seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer for the Apple Vision Pro team. This role is part of the Vision Products Group (VPG) working on Apple's VisionPro running VisionOS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of critical applications, developing robust solutions, and improving productivity while delivering high-quality services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing functional hardware testing for backend services and platforms
• Building SRE Automation tools and platforms with a goal of 100% automation
• Innovating and building functional testing tools
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop project schedules and execute test plans
• Advocating for quality in the hardware development process
• Contributing to initiatives to improve the overall QE process

The role requires expertise in media-centric hardware reliability and comfort working in a dynamic, creative team environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the quality of hardware and may lead others in this fast-paced, evolving team.

This position offers competitive compensation, including base pay ranging from $135,400 to $204,000, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
