Description For Codec Pixel IP Engineering Program Manager

Apple is seeking an experienced Codec Pixel IP Engineering Program Manager to join their Hardware Technology Team. This role represents a unique opportunity to lead the development of critical video codec IP components that power Apple's innovative silicon solutions across their entire product lineup.

The position demands a leader with deep silicon engineering expertise who can effectively coordinate across multiple functional teams, including Platform Architecture, Design and Verification, Silicon Validation, and Software Engineering. You'll be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality Video Codec IPs that meet Apple's exacting standards for performance and reliability.

As a program manager, you'll navigate complex technical challenges while maintaining clear communication channels with executive stakeholders. Responsibilities For Codec Pixel IP Engineering Program Manager

  • Work with multi-functional teams within HWTech organization for Video Codec IPs in Apple Silicon
  • Collaborate with Software, Systems, Architecture, Power and Performance, FPGA prototyping, and SoC integration teams
  • Adapt to dynamic SoC execution lifecycles and manage requirements and changes
  • Plan, prioritize and drive engineering tasks to meet demanding product launch schedules
  • Communicate IP status to Apple executives with focused tracking and reporting
  • Lead debug efforts and resolution of technical issues associated with Codec IP blocks

Requirements For Codec Pixel IP Engineering Program Manager

  • BS in Engineering and 10+ years relevant experience
  • 5+ years of Silicon industry experience
  • 2+ years of Design Management or Engineering Program Management experience
  • Phenomenal leadership with a collaborative approach
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working in a dynamic multi-disciplined engineering environment
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
