Apple's Wireless Hardware group is seeking a passionate Connectivity RF Hardware and System Design Engineer to join their world-class team. As a RF Hardware Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing next-generation wireless radio solutions, working with technologies including WiFi, Bluetooth, UWB, NFC, GPS, and emerging technologies. You'll be responsible for the entire product development lifecycle, from concept through product introduction, serving as a directly responsible individual (DRI) for your technology area.
The role involves sophisticated technical work including front-end architecture design, component specification, RF line-up spreadsheets and modeling, and system feature development such as digital pre-distortion and VSWR sensing. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including antenna design, product design, production test, regulatory, reliability, and software engineering.
The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $143,100 to $264,200, plus additional benefits including stock options, comprehensive healthcare, and educational support. You'll be working in Sunnyvale, California, as part of Apple's renowned hardware engineering team, with opportunities for international travel (15%) to support product development.
