Description For Core BringUp Engineer

Apple's Core Operating Systems group is seeking a Core BringUp Engineer to join their innovative team working on state-of-the-art technology for iOS devices. This role is part of the Core Platform Bring-up team within Apple's CoreOS organization, focusing on debugging and bringing up next-generation iOS devices. The position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on Apple's product development process, working in an environment that encourages innovation and autonomy.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams on critical hardware platform bring-up, verification, and debugging for Apple's entire ecosystem of devices, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Mac. This role requires expertise in embedded development, firmware, and driver development, along with a deep understanding of hardware platforms and processor architectures.

The position offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $175,800 to $264,200, plus additional benefits such as stock options, comprehensive healthcare, and education reimbursement. Requirements For Core BringUp Engineer

  • Highly proficient in C/C++

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field
