Description For CPU Post-Silicon Engineering Program Manager

The CPU Engineering Project Manager will be embedded in the CPU team driving post-silicon planning, bringup and debug activities. You will be working closely with Design, Verification, Silicon Validation, Software, Power, Performance Validation, System, and many other groups to resolve silicon issues blocking product development, starting with initial silicon bring up through production release and beyond.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing post-silicon validation plans
  • Driving debug of silicon issues with CPU and multi-functional teams
  • Coordinating and prioritizing debug tasks and experiments
  • Supervising issues and bugs across multiple projects
  • Focused issue reporting and communication of program risks & status
  • Materials management (parts, boards, etc.)

We are looking for a dedicated Engineering Program Manager or a technical leader who is passionate about planning for and leading silicon bring-up and debug of groundbreaking and innovative designs. You will use your creativity, technical knowledge and organizational skills to drive multi-functional teams to take on complex technical problems under tight schedule constraints.

Requirements For CPU Post-Silicon Engineering Program Manager

  • BS + 10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven Silicon development experience in Design, Verification, Implementation, Physical Design, DFT or Validation
  • CPU development experience (preferred)
  • Experience in debug of CPU logic and circuit failures (preferred)
  • Technical leadership and/or project management experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills (preferred)
  • Strong time and task leadership skills with consistent attention to detail (preferred)
  • Strong organization skills (preferred)
  • Knowledge of CPU microarchitecture and validation tools (preferred)
  • Able to build trust and lead through influence (preferred)
  • Comfortable navigating tough situations, balancing priorities and managing constraints (preferred)
