Description For Custom Silicon Management Engineering Program Manager

Apple is seeking an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) for their Custom Silicon Management Team to support the design, development, and integration of image sensors and VCSELs into camera modules. This role combines technical expertise with project management, requiring oversight of programs from kick-off to production while coordinating with multiple teams including Silicon engineering, Camera Module, SoC, FW, SW, Procurement, and Operations.

The position involves working with cutting-edge technology in Apple's camera systems, focusing on custom-designed and fabricated semiconductor components. The role demands strong leadership skills to manage relationships with internal and external teams, drive issue resolution, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You'll be responsible for ensuring the development of world-class imaging sensors and depth technology for Apple's entire product line.

As an EPM, you'll define and drive development schedules, serve as the primary vendor contact, and advocate for component performance throughout the organization. The role requires a structured approach to organization, the ability to manage complex multi-functional teams, and experience with international silicon foundry partners. Success in this position demands exceptional communication skills, technical understanding of CMOS image sensors, and the ability to drive high-volume production processes.
