Apple's Real Estate & Development team is seeking a Data Center Construction Project Manager to oversee the development of innovative and energy-efficient data centers across global locations including the US, Denmark, and China. This role is integral to Apple's infrastructure growth, requiring expertise in managing complex construction projects within live data center environments while coordinating with diverse teams.
The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of data center construction experience, combining technical expertise with strong leadership abilities. You'll be responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects, from equipment upgrades to new construction initiatives, while ensuring seamless coordination between various stakeholders including real estate, legal, design, and operations teams.

Responsibilities For Data Center Construction Project Manager
- Handle all aspects of development for data centers
- Lead multiple projects including equipment upgrades and modifications
- Coordinate with project partners from real estate, legal, design, EH&S, energy, construction, network and operations teams
- Lead and support architects, engineers, and specialty consultants from programming to construction completion
- Manage project budgets and secure internal approvals for capital funding
- Review proposals and change order requests
- Oversee commissioning agents and review sequence of operations
Requirements For Data Center Construction Project Manager
- 8+ years demonstrated ability as a data center (or similar) construction project manager
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field, or equivalent job-related experience
- Strong background in data center/commercial/industrial construction
- Skilled in reading design and construction drawings for all fields
- Experience with utility infrastructure and coordination of local utilities
