Responsibilities For Data Center Product Design Engineering Program Manager (PD EPM)
- Support product definition and drive closure of architecture and technical opens in early stages of a project
- Establish and manage program feature baseline, scheduling, budget, critical paths, and technology risk areas
- Identify and highlight technical risk areas and mitigation strategies
- Drive drawing releases and tooling kickoff with PD Engineering team
- Plan and implement prototype builds, directing factory operations and cross functional teams
- Lead communication between project teams and external vendors
- Enable the development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient, streamlined process
Requirements For Data Center Product Design Engineering Program Manager (PD EPM)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Mechanical preferred) with 5+ years industry work experience in hardware engineering program management
- Strong technical background with knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Solid knowledge of computer architecture
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Leadership skills and ability to build strong relationships
