Developer IS&T Retail, Retail Engineering, (Early Career)

Apple is seeking a Developer for IS&T Retail, Retail Engineering (Early Career) to join their Software and Services team. This role involves building custom tools to support Mobile Device Management in stores, empowering store employees to deliver the best customer experience. You'll work on developing web services, micro-services, monoliths, server-less solutions, and implement cache strategies and data structures. The job requires interaction with web frontends, iOS applications, package software, and custom developed applications. You'll be responsible for the full life cycle of applications and services, from ideation to production support. Key responsibilities include picking the best solutions for each problem, ensuring security, and understanding the complete application lifecycle. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to Apple's retail technology infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with development of service or application backends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Development experience with Golang
• Understanding of security & cryptography
• Understanding of device management (MDM)
• Knowledge of networking and access policies
• iOS and macOS support experience
• Kubernetes and containerization experience
