DevOps Engineer, Enterprise Systems

Apple is seeking a highly motivated and innovative DevOps engineer to join the IS&T Legal & Global Security Solutions Team. In this role, you will be part of a team passionate about automating solutions, securing data and infrastructures, and managing all aspects of the infrastructure to achieve high availability, scalability, and reliability.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations processes to deliver outstanding and highly available systems. You will work closely with application development teams to understand infrastructure requirements while promoting efficiency, scalability, security, and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing automation for common development and operational tasks
• Creating reusable infrastructure as code libraries
• Supervising system performance and availability, and remediating issues as necessary
• Collaborating with software, infrastructure, network, and storage engineering teams to find operationally balanced solutions to engineering problems
• Designing engineering platforms and tools that simplify the process of building, deploying, and operating applications
