DevOps Engineer - Insight

Apple's BPR-Insight team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work on next-generation big data solutions. This role involves managing large-scale, highly-available Cloud and Big Data Platforms supporting exabytes of data for Analytics. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP
• Developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
• Setting up and improving monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions
• Building and managing infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Overseeing Postgres database maintenance and performance tuning
• Collaborating on data processing workflows in Spark and Trino
• Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance
• Troubleshooting and optimizing infrastructure and application performance

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, with 5-10 years of experience in DevOps or a related role supporting Java and Python applications. Strong hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes, and experience with various DevOps tools and technologies are preferred.

This role offers the opportunity to work on systems that interact with every iPhone, iPad, and Mac, contributing to Apple's next great products.
