Description For DevOps Engineering Manager, Employee Experience & Productivity

Apple is seeking an outstanding senior technical leader to head their DevOps function in a large-scale enterprise environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a global team that builds and manages capabilities ensuring Apple's corporate applications are delivered accurately, reliably, and with speed. The position involves leading DevOps engineering for corporate systems, both internal and external facing, as part of the Corporate Systems Engineering operations team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving DevOps and systems engineering operations while working closely with development teams. They will lead efforts in service delivery, automation, and build & release engineering, working with both U.S. and India-based teams. The role requires expertise in various technologies including Jenkins, Maven, Git, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and programming languages like Python and Java.

Requirements For DevOps Engineering Manager, Employee Experience & Productivity

  • 8+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, systems engineering, or software development engineering
  • 3+ years experience in engineering management leadership role
  • 3+ years leading teams focused on development operations, tools & automation

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
