Apple is seeking a DFM PCBA Engineer to join their Hardware team in creating revolutionary products. Responsibilities For DFM PCBA Engineer

  • Verify Quick Turn PCBA Vendor Technical Capabilities
  • Develop and maintain PCBA DFM procedures and checklists
  • Develop array drawings for product PCBAs
  • Manage PCBA prototype, EVT, and DVT assembly and test at manufacturing subcontractor
  • Develop and maintain PCBA process parameters and procedures
  • Ensure proper use of approved materials
  • Develop and maintain PCBA assembly workmanship standards
  • Support component engineering and ECAD librarians
  • Manage PCBA PVT assembly and test
  • Verify volume PCB vendor capabilities
  • Develop necessary tooling and automation equipment
  • Maintain cable assembly processes

Requirements For DFM PCBA Engineer

  • BS in engineering disciplines (mechanical, industrial, chemical, electrical or materials science)
  • 7+ years experience with microelectronics fabrication and PCBA assembly
  • Ability to travel frequently (>25%)
  • High level of creativity and curiosity about materials science and electronics packaging
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Self-management skills and ability to deliver results
