Responsibilities For Engineering Program Manager- Home Team Product Design
- Support product definition and drive closure of architecture and technical opens in early stages of projects
- Establish and manage program feature baseline, scheduling, budget, critical paths, and technology risk areas
- Identify and highlight technical risk areas and mitigation strategies
- Drive drawing releases and tooling kickoff with PD Engineering and vendors
- Plan and execute prototype builds by directing OEM partners
- Lead cross functional communication between project teams and external vendors
- Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives
- Provide status updates across multiple levels of organization
Requirements For Engineering Program Manager- Home Team Product Design
- BS Degree
- 3+ years experience leading program management or mechanical engineering design of product development
- Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills
- Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Ability to handle rapid development cycles and remain flexible with changes
- Knowledge of product development processes and manufacturing processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex design strategies
- Experience with cross functional teams
