Responsibilities For Engineering Program Manager- Home Team Product Design

  • Support product definition and drive closure of architecture and technical opens in early stages of projects
  • Establish and manage program feature baseline, scheduling, budget, critical paths, and technology risk areas
  • Identify and highlight technical risk areas and mitigation strategies
  • Drive drawing releases and tooling kickoff with PD Engineering and vendors
  • Plan and execute prototype builds by directing OEM partners
  • Lead cross functional communication between project teams and external vendors
  • Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives
  • Provide status updates across multiple levels of organization

Requirements For Engineering Program Manager- Home Team Product Design

  • BS Degree
  • 3+ years experience leading program management or mechanical engineering design of product development
  • Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills
  • Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Ability to handle rapid development cycles and remain flexible with changes
  • Knowledge of product development processes and manufacturing processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex design strategies
  • Experience with cross functional teams
