Description For Engineering Program Manager, Infrastructure Services

Apple is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to join their Infrastructure Services team, focusing on improving resiliency and disaster recovery across all Apple's Internal and External services worldwide. This role is crucial in delivering magnificent experiences for global users across all Apple devices by ensuring secure, reliable, high-performant infrastructure in every region where Apple operates.

The position involves working closely with Apple's Infrastructure and application teams to create, review, and test disaster recovery plans across Apple-owned data centers, cloud environments, and colocation facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving multi-functional efforts, creating technical roadmaps, and managing comprehensive project plans to ensure robust disaster recovery capabilities.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of infrastructure management and program delivery, requiring strong technical acumen combined with excellent project management skills. You'll be part of the Project Management group that serves as the central hub connecting diverse products and ideas, taking ownership of projects from conception to production.

  • Drive multi-functional efforts and meetings with product and service teams

Requirements For Engineering Program Manager, Infrastructure Services

  • BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field
  • 1+ year of experience in program management in infrastructure services or related technical domain
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous approach with focus on documentation
  • Experience in Disaster Recovery (preferred)
  • PMP Certification (preferred)
