The position involves managing critical aspects of hardware engineering projects, particularly in early manufacturing builds and product development phases.

The role demands strong technical and organizational skills, focusing on managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) from conceptual design through to production. You'll be responsible for establishing workflows, processing Engineering Change Orders, and creating Approved Manufacturer's Lists. Responsibilities For Engineering Program Specialist - Product Design

  • Manage project Bills of Materials (BOMs) from early conceptual designs to production
  • Establish and maintain project workflows
  • Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
  • Review drawings and provide feedback to engineers
  • Create Approved Manufacturer's Lists (AMLs) and part numbers
  • Track and report on product release status
  • Work with Engineering Project Managers and cross-functional teams
