Description For Engineering Project Manager (SAP Customer Engagement), IS&T Enterprise Systems
Apple is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for their SAP Customer Engagement team within the Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams across regions to deliver complex projects in Apple's fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting business requirements definition
- Performing functional gap analysis and defining project scope
- Collaborating on project plans, deliverables, dependencies, and risks
- Writing technical specifications and coordinating with technical teams
- Presenting solutions for design reviews and business playbacks
- Supporting performance testing
- Ensuring adequate test cycles for production launch
- Status reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinating cutover and implementation activities
- Resolving production issues and managing scope changes
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of experience implementing and enhancing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) functionality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project management experience working with global teams across time zones
- Experience with SAP variant configuration, S/4 HANA, cloud technologies, service management, or SAP BTP
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

Requirements For Engineering Project Manager (SAP Customer Engagement), IS&T Enterprise Systems
Java
- Experience implementing and enhancing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) functionality
- Detail-oriented and able to deliver high quality SAP based solutions within scope and timeline
- Testing and debugging experience with SAP ABAP, Java or similar programming languages
- Experience with SAP iDoc integration, SD user exits and output management
- Knowledge of SAP enterprise structure, sales documents, deliveries, billing, pricing and customer communications
- Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience is preferred
