Apple is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for SAP Payments & Trade In within the IS&T Enterprise Systems team. This role is part of the global Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization, focusing on building systems that support customer ordering, fulfillment, and service of Apple products. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams across regions, delivering sophisticated projects in Apple's fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting business requirements definition
- Performing functional gap analysis
- Proposing appropriate designs
- Collaborating on project plans and deliverables
- Writing technical specifications
- Presenting solutions for design reviews
- Supporting performance testing
- Ensuring adequate test cycles
- Status reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinating cutover and implementation activities
- Resolving production issues
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience implementing and enhancing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) functionality
- Strong Order-To-Cash business process knowledge
- Detail-oriented approach to delivering high-quality SAP-based solutions
- Testing and debugging skills with SAP ABAP, Java, or similar languages
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications include:
- 10+ years of SAP SD experience
- Knowledge of SAP enterprise structure, sales documents, deliveries, billing, pricing, and customer communications
- Experience with SAP iDoc integration, SD user exits, Z tables, interfaces, and output management
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience integrating SAP with e-Commerce and Point of Sale systems
- Payments processing experience
- Project management experience with global teams
- Ability to collaborate and articulate complex ideas
- Experience with S/4 HANA, cloud technologies, UI5, or SAP BTP
This role offers a competitive base pay range of $136,300 to $248,700, along with additional benefits such as stock options, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and educational reimbursement opportunities.
