Responsibilities For Equipment Engineering Manager
- Managing and growing a multi-disciplinary engineering team
- Collaborating with industrial designers, hardware, software, product integrity, and technology teams
- Driving the team into defining product specification (PRD) and system architecture
- Assuming full ownership on the products, managing them through product life cycle
- Partnering with other teams to define and implement the roadmap for future factory
- Leading Ops owned development of future automated lines
- Partnering with external vendors to manufacture tools and bring them into production lines
- Working with in-region Ops teams and vendors
- Traveling ~15% of the year to Asia for equipment validation
Requirements For Equipment Engineering Manager
- BS in Mechanical engineering or similar, MS preferred
- 10+ years of experience managing development of Equipment (for test, inspection, or process)
- Experience with managing vendors
- Great communication skills: written and verbal
- Excellent people management and time management skills
