Responsibilities For Exploratory Device Scientist - Platform Architecture

  • Design, model, prototype and innovate device structures across photonic, electronic and electromechanical/optomechanical design
  • Conceive, analyze, model, optimize and evolve new concepts for future Apple systems
  • Communicate plans and technical results through team meetings, written reports and presentations
  • Participate in design, prototyping and characterization of devices and systems
  • Balance risk of novelty and exploration against delivering value

Requirements For Exploratory Device Scientist - Platform Architecture

Python
  • BS in optoelectronics/electromechanical, optomechanical or similar engineering degree
  • Experience setting up lab equipment
  • Experience in research process development, fabricating and characterizing photonic devices
  • Experience in modeling and designing photonic and electronic devices
