Responsibilities For Foundry Interface Engineer

  • Identify, diagnose, and correct FEOL or BEOL process/layout issues affecting product yield and performance
  • Design experiments for FEOL and BEOL process module improvements
  • Define and drive statistical yield, electrical test and defect data analysis with foundries
  • Work with foundry partners for process and performance improvements
  • Plan process corners to ensure robust product performance
  • Improve process variation and ensure correct SPC limits for key process parameters
  • Communicate process, yield improvement and execution status to management
  • Collaborate with internal supply chain management and engineering teams

Requirements For Foundry Interface Engineer

  • BS degree and minimum 10 years relevant industry experience
  • 10+ years of process integration experience in IDM or Foundry process
  • Experience with Fin-FET and GAA CMOS advanced process technology
  • Understanding of MOSFET device physics and scaling impact
  • Experience with process design rules and assumptions
  • Experience in yield management of high volume manufacturing
  • Understanding of wafer sort testing and analysis methods
  • Knowledge of failure analysis techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
