Description For GPU Post-Silicon Engineering Program Manager

Apple is seeking a GPU Post-Silicon Engineering Program Manager to join their team responsible for delivering GPUs across their product line including Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision products. This role combines technical leadership with program management to drive silicon bring-up and debug of innovative GPU designs. The position requires working closely with multiple teams including GPU Silicon Validation, Architecture, and Productization teams, as well as SoC, software, and system teams.

The role involves developing post-silicon validation plans, leading debug efforts for various silicon issues (functional, electrical, performance), and managing complex technical problems under tight schedules. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GPU or SOC validation, strong technical leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities For GPU Post-Silicon Engineering Program Manager

  • Work with functional team to develop post-silicon validation plans
  • Drive debug of silicon issues with GPU and cross-functional teams
  • Organize and prioritize debug tasks and experiments
  • Track issues and bugs across multiple projects
  • Communicate program risks and status in cross-functional forums
  • Manage materials (parts, boards, etc.)
  • Lead silicon bring-up and debug of GPU designs

Requirements For GPU Post-Silicon Engineering Program Manager

  • BS in Engineering discipline and 10+ years relevant experience
  • Proven experience in GPU or SOC validation
  • Meaningful experience in technical leadership and/or project management
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • Strong time and task management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple sites
  • Experience with software driver and HW/SW interactions
  • Understanding of Power and Performance tradeoffs
