Description For GPU Post-Silicon Engineering Program Manager

Join Apple's prestigious GPU team responsible for delivering cutting-edge graphics processing units across all Apple products including Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision products. As a GPU Post-Silicon Engineering Program Manager, you'll lead silicon bring-up and debug of groundbreaking designs, working at the intersection of hardware, software, and systems teams.

The role demands technical excellence and cross-organizational expertise, focusing on delivering industry-leading power and performance. You'll work closely with GPU Silicon Validation, Architecture, Productization teams, as well as SoC, software, and system teams to resolve critical silicon issues blocking product development.

Your responsibilities will span from initial silicon bring-up through production release and beyond. You'll develop validation plans, drive debug of various silicon issues (functional, electrical, performance), manage multi-functional teams, and ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.

This position offers a unique opportunity to impact Apple's entire product line, working with cutting-edge GPU technology. You'll be responsible for identifying process/methodology gaps, coordinating with validation teams, and ensuring smooth transition from development to production. The role requires strong technical leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Ideal candidates will bring experience in GPU or SOC validation, preferably in a leadership role, with a deep understanding of silicon bring-up and validation processes. Requirements For GPU Post-Silicon Engineering Program Manager

  • BS in Engineering subject area and 10+ years proven experience
  • Validated experience in GPU or SOC validation
  • Meaningful experience in technical leadership and/or project management experience
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • Strong time and task management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple sites
