Apple's GPU Silicon Characterization Team is seeking a dedicated engineer to join their innovative hardware division. This role focuses on characterizing the behavior of Apple's embedded GPUs and determining optimal settings for power and performance optimization. Working closely with design, verification, productization, hardware, and software teams, you'll be instrumental in enabling world-class GPUs in the embedded space.
The position involves comprehensive validation planning, test execution, data analysis, and tool development. You'll conduct experiments to maximize performance, improve operating margins, minimize power usage, and achieve performance/Watt targets for current and future Apple embedded GPUs. Key technical areas include device physics, transistor behavior, power/performance optimization, embedded systems debugging, and system/SoC architectures.
