Responsibilities For Graphics Power Architect, Platform Architecture

  • Work with architecture, design and software partners on the definition & tuning of Apple's future GPU Power architectures
  • Develop C++ and Python code for GPU models
  • Build and maintain GPU models for understanding and enhancing power architecture
  • Collaborate with GPU architects, RTL designers & software teams
  • Assess feasibility of new hardware and software power features
  • Run experiments and report findings
  • Develop and improve GPU modeling and features for power architecture

Requirements For Graphics Power Architect, Platform Architecture

Python
  • BS degree
  • Experience in GPU or CPU architecture and micro-architecture design
  • Software skills and proficiency in C/C++ and Python or Ruby
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 20+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel internationally 3-5 times a year
  • Ability to work with complex designs from architecture to production
