Responsibilities For Hardware Engineering Lab Manager
- Lead operational aspects of several hardware engineering labs
- Define, document, communicate and enforce lab policies and guidelines
- Ensure compliance with state, local and Apple safety protocols
- Maintain and control access to lab spaces
- Develop strategic preventative maintenance and repair strategies
- Lead procurement, inventory and disposition of laboratory equipment
- Build and maintain equipment SOPs and documentation
- Handle Mac and PC hardware/software setup and troubleshooting
Requirements For Hardware Engineering Lab Manager
- 2+ years previous Lab Management or related project management experience
- Experience with space layout, including installation of precision prototyping, fabrication and/or metrology equipment
- Experience with industrial health and safety risk assessments
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent customer focus and relationship building skills
