Responsibilities For Hardware Systems Integration Engineer - Apple WATCH

  • System electrical design, schematic capture and PCB layout design
  • Prototype bringup and debugging
  • Functional and performance verification of hardware designs
  • Hands-on debugging and failure analysis of manufacturing, design, and reliability issues
  • Factory build support from early NPI through product ramp
  • Reporting on and presenting status of hardware issues
  • International travel to support factory builds as needed

Requirements For Hardware Systems Integration Engineer - Apple WATCH

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD of Science in Electrical or Computer engineering
  • Excellent EE and science fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of system integration and validation, power electronics, embedded device communication
  • Hands-on hardware bringup, functional validation, and debugging experience
  • Experience with schematic capture and constraint-driven PCB layout design using Cadence tools or similar
