Description For Inductive Power Transfer DSP Architect (Wireless Power)

The Wireless Power Technology team at Apple is seeking a hands-on DSP architect to design and implement next-generation communication architecture for inductive charging products. This role is part of the team behind MagSafe technology, combining electromagnetics, electronics, safety algorithms, and inductive communication.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in electrical engineering fundamentals, particularly DSP, digital communication, and analog/power circuits. You'll be working on pioneering new charging solutions that impact millions of users daily, ensuring optimal performance and safety across all scenarios.

Key responsibilities include developing simulation models, architecting innovative communication solutions for inductive links, and driving cross-functional execution from concept to production. You'll need strong technical skills in DSP, hardware debugging, and programming (MATLAB, Python, C), plus the ability to collaborate effectively with system integration teams.

The position offers competitive compensation ($175,800 - $312,200 base salary) plus equity opportunities through stock programs. Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental coverage, retirement benefits, education reimbursement, and various Apple-specific perks.

This is an opportunity to shape the future of wireless charging technology at Apple, working with cutting-edge technology while maintaining the highest standards of safety and user experience. The role combines technical depth with practical implementation, requiring both architectural vision and hands-on problem-solving skills.
