iOS Software Manager - SpringBoard Wallpapers

We're looking for a creative, customer-focused, technical manager to drive the iOS Wallpaper experience. Our team (iOS System Spaces) is responsible for a significant portion of the iOS system experience including wallpapers, lock screen, home screen, and control center!

You will lead the team at the forefront of personal customization for the most popular software platform to ever exist. Wallpapers are a critical component of the new iOS Lock Screen experience shipped in iOS 16 and this team is responsible for the infrastructure that powers them.

You'll be expected to push the envelope, ship compelling designs at the very edge of what's technically possible, and challenge your engineers, peers, manager, and various senior leaders to push things forward. You'll have a voice in the room as critical decisions are made that will affect, impact, and improve the day-to-day lives of countless individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the iOS Wallpaper experience team
• Drive innovation in personal customization for iOS
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and senior leaders
• Make critical decisions that impact the user experience
• Push the boundaries of what's technically possible

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
• Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, architecture, and design
• Experience developing with UIKIT, SWIFTUI, or other application frameworks
• Open-minded with strong collaboration skills
