The role involves sensor technology scoping, product definition, market surveys, competitive analysis, cross-functional collaboration, sensor & module design, end-to-end application definition, algorithm development, and system-level problem solving. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, electrical engineering background, hands-on experience in system-level design, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in simulation and modeling tools. Responsibilities:

• Sensor technology scoping and proof-of-concept investigations
• Support product definition, market surveys, and competitive analysis
• Collaborate with different technology teams to evaluate system design options & trade-offs
• Provide cross-functional leadership, guidance, and mentoring to engineers
• Sensor & module design and modeling
• End-to-end application definition and design
• Oversee complete module design and execution
• Review and define algorithms for signal and noise conditioning requirements
• Design, prototype, and integrate sensors, PCBs, and ASIC applications
• Optimize design across multi-disciplinary boundaries
• Conduct failure mode analysis, root cause diagnosis, and system-level problem solving
• Perform statistical data analysis and data mining
• Design analysis, characterization, and validation
• Business travel to support product development
