Responsibilities For Mac Power Validation Engineer

  • Driving bug fixes and power optimizations to ensure Mac products meet battery life and power targets
  • Collecting, analyzing, and presenting power data on all in-development Mac platforms
  • Identifying, isolating, and root causing problem areas using debugging and data analysis skills
  • Designing tests to assess power impact of new HW/SW features
  • Continuously improving test coverage, methodology, and efficiency

Requirements For Mac Power Validation Engineer

  • BSEE/CS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • 3+ years experience of computer architecture, operating system concepts, EE fundamentals
  • 3+ years experience in test planning, validation, and driving issues to resolution
  • Ability to dive deep technically and learn new technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Coding and scripting experience (Python and shell preferred)
