Responsibilities For Mac System Physical Architect & Pathfinding

  • Provide physical architectural guidance and leadership to cross-functional engineering teams
  • Lead solutions for delivering physical architecture solutions for datacenter platforms
  • Drive physical architecture investigations for product system integration options
  • Author system architecture specifications and system interface diagrams
  • Analyze and support thermal management solutions and trade-offs
  • Anticipate future SoC requirements and negotiate with internal SoC teams
  • Lead system physical architecture and guide early design team activities
  • Mentor junior engineers to best practices and data-driven processes

Requirements For Mac System Physical Architect & Pathfinding

Linux
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Core competence and subject matter expertise architecting servers for general purpose compute, or specialty compute systems
  • Strong technical breadth across computer subsystem technologies (CPU, GPU, TPU, storage, memory, power delivery, etc.)
  • Ability to create, review and approve engineering requirement specification documents
