Responsibilities For Mac Systems Architect - Display

  • Provide architectural guidance and leadership to cross-functional engineering teams
  • Negotiate top level product goals among architects, engineers, and vendors
  • Determine product system integration feasibility
  • Author system architecture specifications and block diagrams
  • Collaborate on performance, power efficiency and cost improvements
  • Analyze and support thermal management solutions
  • Anticipate future SoC requirements and negotiate with internal teams
  • Explore and champion new product-level features and workflows

Requirements For Mac Systems Architect - Display

Linux
  • 10+ years of relevant computer systems architecture experience with Display Technologies specialization
  • Core competence in personal computing system and product design
  • Strong technical breadth across computer subsystem technologies
  • Ability to create and review engineering requirement specifications
  • System integration experience with display related technologies
  • MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
  • Understanding of HW/FW/SW layers interactions
  • Strong analytic, verbal, written and communication skills
  • Experience with display technologies (LCD, OLED) and backlight technologies
  • Experience with DisplayPort timings & technologies
