Mac Systems Power Architect

The Datacenter Systems Architecture team at Apple is seeking an exceptional computer systems architect to drive innovation in system power architecture and power management. This principal-level position combines multiple disciplines and cross-functional leadership, focusing on all aspects of computer system design. The role involves creating system power architectures that enhance product performance, size, power efficiency, thermal management, and cost-effectiveness.

The position requires leading power delivery architecture solutions for datacenter applications, establishing power budgets, and collaborating with various engineering teams. The architect will work with mechanical, physical, thermal, and electrical engineering stakeholders to determine system integration feasibility. They will author specifications, conduct reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in power electronics and voltage regulators, with a strong background in server system designs. They must possess comprehensive knowledge of computer subsystems, including CPU, GPU, TPU, storage, memory, and networking.
